Summary. — In this article Philippe rhe Denis gives a critical edition rhe of a hereto unpublished correspondence rhe between Pieter van Ewijk, a rhe young Dominican from the recently rhe restored Dutch province, who had rhe been sent as a missionary rhe to the Cape in 1852, rhe and Vincent Jandel, the master rhe of the Dominican Order.
