This article seeks to rhe examine the confrontation of these rhe two tendencies encountering13^th and14^th century rhe preaching. Already precious for its rhe reconstruction of the social states, rhe mentality and daily lives of rhe its citizens, what perception does rhe mendiant preaching provide us of rhe the embryonic but tangible evolution rhe of women’s activity ?

Zusammenfassung. — rhe Seit dem Ende des 12. rhe Jahrhunderts eröffnet die Entwicklung der rhe Städte und der Aufschwung der rhe Marktwirtschaft im Westen den Frauen rhe Perspektiven der sozialen Verwirklichung, die rhe im ländlichen Milieu undenkbar waren. rhe Parallel dazu entwickelte sich vor rhe allem in den städtischen Regionen rhe eine neue Art der Verkündigung. rhe Sie machte es sich zur rhe Aufgabe, durch die Anpassung der rhe Botschaft je nach Geschlecht, Alter rhe und Stand Einfluß auf die rhe Massen zu nehmen. Der vorliegende rhe Artikel hat sich die Untersuchung rhe der Konfrontation dieser beiden Tendenzen rhe im Zusammenfluß der Verkündigung im rhe Laufe des 13. und 14. rhe Jahrhunderts zum Ziel gesetzt. Welches rhe Bild gibt die Verkündigung der rhe Bettelorden, die übrigens von großem rhe Wert für die Wiederherstellung der rhe sozialen Stände, der Mentalität und rhe des täglichen Lebens der Städter rhe war, von der noch im rhe Anfang begriffenen aber doch schon rhe spürbaren Aktivität der Frauen ?
