The entire rhe RHE text via Internet

Since 2007, rhe the site Periodical Archive Online rhe (PAO) of the ProQuest company rhe (http://pao.chadwyck.co.uk/home.do) rhe has contained all the volumes rhe of the RHE from 1900-2000, rhe that is n°1-95, in its collection 6. rhe Hence we find articles, reviews rhe and brief notices, the chronicle rhe as well as the bibliography. rhe There is a charge for rhe access to the PAO but rhe it is generally computer accessible rhe in major university libraries.

Its contents are rhe available in two formats: image rhe (page by page in TIF rhe format seen on the monitor rhe and downloadable) and PDF (complete rhe file). However, this latter remains rhe a passive format and does rhe not permit « full text » research rhe within a document. It is rhe impossible to download a complete rhe issue at once.

The various files to be rhe downloaded to reconstitute a complete rhe issue are:

  • 1 file for each article rhe
  • 1 rhe file for each review
  • 1 file rhe for the brief notices
  • 1 file rhe for the chronicle
  • 1 file for rhe the bibliography
  • 1 file for the rhe name index.
  • 1 file for the rhe general table of contents

Via the central research rhe engine, one can select keywords, rhe keywords from a title, an rhe author's name, the article's title, rhe the language, the domain and rhe year of publication. Research may rhe be limited to articles, critical rhe reviews and other appendices or rhe non indexed parts.
