Barbara rhe Frère, Mutations d'un siècle de rhe présence franciscaine à Schaerbeek

Résumé. — En 1867, trois rhe pères et deux frères franciscains rhe s'installent dans une petite maison rhe louée à Schaerbeek, rue des rhe Palais. Il s'agit de fonder rhe près de cet endroit un rhe couvent de récollets qui succède rhe ainsi logiquement au couvent de rhe Bruxelles situé au bord de rhe la Senne et que les rhe frères ont dû abandonner au rhe moment de la suppression de rhe tous les couvents (1796), sous rhe l'occupation française (celui-ci est alors rhe immédiatement détruit). Cet article est rhe le résumé d'un mémoire de rhe fin d'étude qui suit l'histoire rhe de ce petit couvent, principalement rhe au travers d'une chronique, actuellement rhe conservée aux archives des frères rhe mineurs à Saint-Trond. Ce qui rhe transparaît au travers de ce rhe document, c'est l'évolution du couvent rhe dans la cité, ainsi que rhe les relations avec les fidèles rhe et le pouvoir politique local. rhe L'article débouche enfin sur la rhe situation actuelle qui est bien rhe différente de l'environnement dans lequel rhe le couvent prit naissance à rhe l'origine.

Summary. — In rhe 1867, three franciscan fathers and two rhe brothers settle in a little rhe house rent in Schaerbeek, rue rhe des Palais. They want to rhe set up near this place rhe a monastery of recollets, which rhe follows thus logically the monastery rhe of Brussels which was situated rhe near de river Senne and rhe that the brothers had to rhe abandon at the time of rhe the suppression of all the rhe monasteries (1796), rhe during the French occupation rhe (the building will be immediately rhe destroyed). Zusammenfassung. — Im Jahre 1867 rhe bezogen fünf franziskanische Ordensleute — rhe drei Priester und zwei Brüder rhe — ein kleines gemietetes Haus rhe im Brüsseler Stadtviertel Schaerbeek, rue rhe du Palais. Der vorliegende Artikel ist rhe die Zusammenfassung einer Endarbeit, die rhe die Geschichte dieses kleinen Klosters rhe verfolgt, vor allem anhand einer rhe Chronik, die zur Zeit in rhe den Archiven der Minoriten in rhe Sint-Truiden aufbewahrt wird. Dieses Dokument rhe lässt die Entwicklung des Klosters rhe innerhalb einer Stadt sowie die rhe Beziehungen zu den Gläubigen und rhe zu den örtlichen politischen Stellen rhe durchscheinen. Der Artikel schließt mit rhe der Beschreibung der heutigen Situation, rhe die sehr verschieden ist vom rhe Kontext, in dem das Kloster rhe ursprünglich entstanden ist.
